Rare set of two "Quilt" sconces made by Venini. Molded patterned glass with tea-brown band on clear base. White lacquered metal frame with impressed signature "VENINI MURANO". Listed as model 825.01 in the Venini catalogue. From the same design available a set of 12 small pieces; this pair can be united with the small ones to create a wall lighting system (see image 10).
